In designing the 2023 Holiday Card for the Houston Grand Opera, I incorporated lyrics from the song "My Favorite Things" from the musical "The Sound of Music." This is evident in the illustrations on the card cover and the golden text patterns inside, complemented by the brand's primary colors of red and gold, along with the bow decorations on the kraft paper envelope. The overall design exudes a festive atmosphere while emphasizing HGO's brand focus of presenting outstanding artistic works to the audience. Additionally, this piece serves as effective advertising for the opera version of "The Sound of Music," production in 2024.
